Opel revealed that there will be three different moods for 2013 Opel Adam. The three available options are called Jam, Glam and Slam. Surely, each variant will be different and unique. The new moods will change the traditional trim hierarchy. Opel uses the clever design tricks and accessories to present the funky, elegant and sporty images. Besides revealing the names of the new moods, Opel also announced that those models will have tattoo-inspired badging with “Adam” script written on the C-pillar instead of the rear end. It is reported that Opel Adam will ride on a shortened version of the next-generation Corsa platform.
2013 Opel Adam uses three cylinder engines which are co-developed with SAIC. The engine will come with some features such as turbo charging capability and direct injection. There is a rumor that the new model will come with a 1.6 liter petrol engine. Moreover, it is also found that Opel Adam will be equipped with 1.6 liter diesel. Compared with Opel Agila, it is for sure that Opel Adam will be smaller in size. In addition, it is also reported that this car will have more stylish design compared with the predecessors as Opel Corsa or Agila. Opel Adam might come with an electric power train plus a three door variant.
As reported, Opel has officially confirmed that 2013 Opel Adam will make the first debut at Paris auto show. Speaking about the price, Opel Adam costs around $13,000 for the base price or under €10,000. Even though the price is more expensive than the larger Agila, it is for sure that the owners will have unbeatable driving experience. In addition, the price is really worth for a car with great features as Opel Adam. Therefore, wait and see. It is really worth waiting when it comes to Opel Adam.
